Rules

Absolute rules - NO EXCEPTIONS

  1. The clan must not use non-unique tags, like PVT for ranks
    • Reasoning:
When I'm fighting I want to know who is where. If there's 3 PVTs in the game, I don't know who is who. This is why mine is DLTA - you can tell quickly where I am.
  2. Force me to do boring training maps - I stress boring, some training maps are good!
    • Reasoning:
I am a tactical player. This means being in the right place at the right time to achieve the objective. If your training map is a big empty room with no cover, and no corners - there is no tactical element.

I would consider

  1. Unique clan tags - like say I705 - it's not easy to tell who-is-who but at least it is unique. I would prefer name-based tags.
  2. Changing armour colour
    • I like my green armour, not only does it have the Master Chief look but also it gives me camouflage
    • Again identifying people is easier if I can recognise them - if the clan all looks the same the whole "who is who" thing is ruined.

Other members

  • I expect betrayals to be taken seriously - I need to know that in a game I never need to worry about a team-mate aggressing me
  • Understand team roles
    • Suppose person A is tasked with getting the rocket launcher, because then we can safely use vehicles as we have the power-weapon, they must NOT then charge at the enemy, they must try to stay alive
    • No sniper-racing
      • On BTB maps quite often someone will spawn with sprint just to run and get the sniper-rifle. Someone with a cloak is better equipped to use it!
  • Mic communication
    • During a game, little chatter about irrelevant things, the team needs to know enemy positions, not "I was sure I killed him!"
  • Trained in non-verbal communication
    • Small bursts from a warthog gunner indicate an intention to go in that direction - things like this
